Counseling With Sara

My passion for counseling came from seeing the limitations of only addressing the physical ailments of an individual. Ten years of experience working in an emergency medical setting helped me to have a firm grasp on the importance of treating the whole person in order to achieve healing. Often when our bodies are whole we struggle to understand why we continue to feel broken; I believe a competent, caring, and challenging therapeutic environment can be the way in which we find deeper healing. It is my hope in working with clients, that I can help each individual experience life with confidence, to find the space they need to heal, and feel empowered to live life well. Outside of the counseling office you will often find me exploring the great outdoors, enjoying new food spots, spending time with my family, reading new research, or (on a really rainy PNW day) binge watching an old sci-fi tv show.
